Once upon a timeβ¦
On October 17, 2019, I had the opportunity to participate in one of the S.O.A.R. (Special Opportunities Available in Recreation) cigar box guitar workshops that Twice Upon a Sting funded! The workshop took place over two evenings with an hour and a half scheduled for each session. The inspiring participants worked hard and showed pride while painting, cutting, and creating these unique musical treasures. Participants left with beautiful instruments they crafted themselves (made with some upcycled materials)!

Twice Upon A String is always honored to donate a pendant for the Lillian Tripp Memorial Shave at Northwest String Summit. Here is Lilli's story, her love and connection to Yonder Mountain String Band, and how her family honors her by giving back to other children battling serious illnesses. π
Excited by the surprise of strings being donated by Rev of The Lil Smokies! π Iβll make sure to put these to good use! Thank you! π #ArtOrLandfill#upcycle
April 22, 2019: These tree-hugger tree of life pendants are made with strings played by Todd Snider. The sterling silver figure I add to these special pieces are a slow process of dipping the figure into hot water, so I can manipulate the arms and legs to hold tight around the tree. I was honored when Todd said he wanted a pendant, and the top piece with Chrysoberyl (also know as Catβs Eye) gemstones is the piece I made and gave him last week. #upcycle#reuse #ArtOrLandfill #earthdayeveryday
