FROM ONE TREE-HUGGER TO ALL THE REST, HAPPY EARTH DAY! 🌎🌳 ❤️

April 22, 2019: These tree-hugger tree of life pendants are made with strings played by Todd Snider. The sterling silver figure I add to these special pieces are a slow process of dipping the figure into hot water, so I can manipulate the arms and legs to hold tight around the tree. I was honored when Todd said he wanted a pendant, and the top piece with Chrysoberyl (also know as Cat’s Eye) gemstones is the piece I made and gave him last week. #upcycle#reuse #ArtOrLandfill #earthdayeveryday

LILLIAN TRIPPE MEMORIAL SHAVE, NORTHWEST STRING SUMMIT - 2017

I am thrilled to donate this upcycled Yonder Mountain String Band pendant to be auctioned at Northwest String Summit in support of the Lillian Trippe Memorial Shave and in honor of Lilli's love of YMSB. 🌸 Lilli battled childhood cancer and passed away before her 4th birthday. She is honored at String Summit Sunday every year by hosting a head shave while the rest of the crowd gets “Frilli for Lilli” by dressing up in their best Sunday Pink. Fundraising efforts support children battling childhood cancer. *** For more information on this great cause, please check out https://lillitrippe.org/
